Over two nights and to packed and enthusiastic audiences, the children recreated an exciting, wartime tale of evacuees from London’s East End journeying to rural Devon in 1940. The show featured singing, dance routines and a host of costume and scene changes that our small but talented cast mastered brilliantly! They even adapted the script for the second show to reference England’s football World Cup exploits, finishing with a rousing rendition of ‘Three Lions’.
Huge thankyous to Emma Butel, Toni Palmer, Nigel Robson and Glynnis Balaam for their support in putting together this enjoyable but challenging production.
